General
1. The owner of this website is Expectations, 75 Great Eastern Street, London, EC2A 3RY.
2. You must be 18 years old to use this site. If you do not qualify please do not use this site.
3. You must register your name and address to complete any order made. You have the sole responsibility for all actions undertaken on the account. You must make ever effort to keep your password safe and should not disclose it to anyone. If it is compromised you must change it. You must not permit either directly or indirectly anyone to use your account.
4. Expectations will not pass your personal or Debit/Credit card details to any 3rd party.
5. You undertake that all details provided for the purchase of goods/services are legal and correct and that any debit/credit card used is your own and there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of goods/services ordered.
6. If there are any changes in the above details it is your responsibility to inform Expectations as soon as possible.
7. Expectations will accept returns within 30 days of receipt unless the goods received are faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Liability
8. Expectations do not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.
9. Expectations will do it’s best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.
10. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, we shall, at its own option, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question provided that you notify Expectations of the problem in writing or email at the address stated in the confirmation e-mail within 10 working days of delivery of the goods. Alternatively you can call Customer Services on 0207 684 6915. NOTHING IN THIS CLAUSE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
Delivery
11. The delivery time stated in which you will receive your order is approximate. All goods will be sent to the delivery address given by you and stated in the order confirmation. Please note your goods may be sent to you in instalments, depending on stock availability.
12. If your delivery address is outside the U.K you may be liable for import duties or taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional costs for customs clearance must be paid by you. If you have any queries regarding this we advise you to contact your local customs office. EXPECTATIONS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHARGES INCURRED.
13. Please note that when shipping goods across international borders they are liable to be opened for inspection by customs authorities.
14. We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control.
Miscellaneous
15. It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Expectations tracks the electronic ‘fingerprints’ of every order placed on the website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.
16. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and to suspend or terminate your access to the Site immediately and without notice to you if:
o You fail to make any payment to us when due; you breach the terms of this Agreement.
o When requested by us to do so, you fail to provide us within a reasonable time with sufficient information to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity.
o We suspect you have engaged, or about to engage, or have in any way been involved, in fraudulent or illegal activity on the Site.
17. These terms and conditions supersede any and all other conditions, commitments, agreements relating to your purchase and are subject to laws and jurisdiction of U.K law.
