Despatch Details

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail from our mail order warehouse in London. UK orders under £50 are sent second class standard delivery. UK orders between £50 and £100 by 1st class recorded. Orders over £100 are sent via next day special delivery.

Overseas orders under £50 are sent by 1st class Airmail. Overseas orders over £50 by International tracked and signed

Recorded delivery items will require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign for a parcel, it will be returned to your local sorting office for you to collect at your earliest convenience.

Discreet Packaging

All parcels sent by us are sent in plain and discreet packaging. There is no indication as to what is inside the package or where you have bought the item(s).

How Long Will My Order Take?

Orders (where items are in stock) are usually despatched daily, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

Please note that orders are placed according to the carrier's standard procedures. If your package does not fit through your letterbox it may be taken back to the postal depot for collection. If your order has not been delivered, please check with your local sorting office before contacting us, to see if they are holding a parcel for you. We despatch all items through Royal Mail, unless your package is over 2kg, in which case, it’s sent via a courier.
Orders over £50 are sent by next day Special Delivery Guaranteed™.
International orders are despatched using Royal Mail in the UK and local postal services and can take between 10-14 days to arrive. International orders over £50 are sent via a recorded service where available.

Do I Need To Create An Account To Place an Order?

For your own security, and in order to ensure you can take advantage of our customer service features – you do need to create an account with our website in order to make a purchase.

Our ordering system is totally secure, and none of your personal information is accessible to anyone outside the company. Once you have created your account, you can select communication preferences to control what if any information you receive from us.

How Do I Know What Size to Order?

Because of the huge range of items we offer, sizing differs from garment to garment; it also depends on how you want to wear the item. Some people like tight fitting garments, while others prefer them to be loose.

When ordering leather jeans we highly recommend that you measure your waist size before ordering as our sizes differ from standard jeans & trousers.

Made to Measure Service

If you’re looking for that perfect fit, then we can offer most of the Expectations leather and rubber range made to measure.

For an additional 25% on top of the normal cost our tailors will make something that fits you perfectly and unique to you. So if you really want to look your best when you’re at your favourite fetish club - then made to measure is really worth that bit extra.

Please note that made to measure items take approx 2-3 weeks to be made up. They will be based on the measurements you provide – so please ensure that they are correct. As they are custom made to your specification items can only be returned if faulty.

Repair Service

We offer a unique Expectations leather and rubber repair & alteration service; ensuring you get the maximum life out of your leather and rubber goods. Our workshop is above the Expectations shop in Great Eastern Street, but you can post items to us for repair and we will send them back to you (at an additional charge for postage & packing). Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

From 13 June 2014 the new Consumer Contracts Regulations apply to all purchases customers make at a distance, so either online, mail order, over the phone or through a shopping channel (you can find more information here).


The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 offers the you the following cancellation rights when they buy online or by phone from Expectations Limited:

1. You may cancel your contract/order if you wish, as long as you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods or services.

2. Your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification, such as made to order/customised items (including rubber and furniture), or that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned. This may include underwear, cock rings, cock sheaths, ball stretchers, nipple toys, dildos, gags, butt plugs, genital, medical toys or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

3. If you would like to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them.

7. If you require a replacement item, this will be dependent on us having the item you require in stock.

8. After this time returns will be considered but this will be at our discretion (unless faulty or within a specific warranty period).

9. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

10. When returning the item to us please take reasonable care as we cannot take responsibility for items lost in the post and we strongly recommend using an insured, trackable postal service for this.
